The Genocide

I perceive the ongoing genocide in Palestine as more than just "maltreatment against Muslims globally." While acknowledging its significance, as a Pakistani, the deteriorating situation in my country prompts me to scrutinize and identify reasons for our downfall. Without identifying these reasons, expecting improvement becomes challenging.
When Pakistanis express solidarity with Palestine, advocating for military intervention, I discern a certain level of hypocrisy. Reflecting on past events, such as Imran Khan's protests against the army's role in governance, we witnessed widespread awareness of the military's influence on political matters. Yet, when faced with adversity, the public retreated, avoiding confrontation with the authorities.

This prompts me to question the sincerity of the spirit expressed in supporting Palestine. If we couldn't stand up for our own rights, how can we be expected to fight for others? The fear of consequences during protests reveals a lack of the proclaimed bravery and the self-proclaimed mujahideen mindset.
Digging deeper, I scrutinize our beliefs and attitudes towards death. Despite being self-proclaimed believers, our fear of death suggests a weakness in our theological convictions. The societal trend of migration, opting to flee rather than confront malice, indicates a lack of strong beliefs in the hereafter.
This weak belief system may classify us as hypocrites rather than true Muslims. The fear of standing up against the system and tolerating corrupt leaders contributes to Pakistan's decline. The decline is not only due to those with hidden greed but also among those who claim to be true Muslims. The Muslim identity weakens as true believers become scarce.
To address this, I propose following the example of our Prophet (PBUH) in challenging oppressive leaders through peaceful means. Taking political steps to make Muslims self-sufficient and economically independent is crucial. Supporting local industries, trading within Muslim nations, and fostering economic stability can help Muslims display strength and resilience against oppression. Ultimately, defending our Muslim identity requires a transformation from hypocritical behavior to genuine actions rooted in our beliefs.
